Ariana Vincent, CEO of Ariana Institute (Inspiring Massage Education and Wellness for the Body, Mind and Spirit), will be hosting a free RISE session, Social Media for Health Care Professionals, on Wednesday, March 9, from 12 to 1:30 pm, at Beets Living Food Cafe, 1611 W 5th Street, Suite 165, Austin.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Social Media for Health Care Professionals offers an opportunity for participants to enhance knowledge related to utilize electronic marketing to create or enhance a successful practice. 1.5 hours of CE credit for Licensed Massage Therapists and Licensed Professional Counselors; however, everyone is welcome to attend. DATE: Wednesday, March 9, 2011

PARKING: There is plenty of free garage parking in the 5th Street Commons garage (enter on West Lynn) behind the building (south of the building) and there is metered parking in front of the building on West 5th Street. There are entrances to the Cafe at both the front and the back of building. 

REGISTRATION: Anyone can attend for free. Attendance is capped at 25 entrepreneurs per session. Registration for RISE Week begins February 1 for RISE Members. RISE: RISE is a non-profit program dedicated to inspiring and empowering entrepreneurs. It was created as a week-long, free “un-conference” by and for entrepreneurs in Austin, Texas. The cornerstone of RISE has been an annual “un-conference” in which seasoned entrepreneurs and experts volunteer to host small-group sessions at locations throughout the city. This year, the conference is being held in Austin from March 7 through March 11.
