I finally got around to reading the Titled article you requested comments on and all I can say is that for the most part, it validated the way and positions I used to do Deep-Tissue massage, except for the kneeling down next to the table. Usually I use a step-stool for height and leverage while I use one knee next to the client when providing Deep-Tissue to the back for leverage purposes. Otherwise I NEVER use my thumbs, but rather knuckles as describe in the article.
