Glad you enjoyed the site. That's great we get to meet at WMF. Off to teach lomi now in Kansas city and then Minneapolis. I feel so incredibly blessed! Aloha all

Aloha Kakahiaka Kakou!
If any of you are interested in learning the Traditional form of Hawaiian Lomilomi by Native Hawaiian Kumu and Kupuna, the Hawaiian Lomilomi Association is having its 10th annual conference this year on the island of Oahu in a beautiful tranquil setting of a traditional Hawaiian farm. You may find more info at www.lomilomi.org.There are going to be valuable presentations by Kupuna and Kumu from Hawaii and New Zealand this year and it is going to be an exciting and worthwhile event. Please strive to learn from Native Practitioners for they are the closest to the source one can get. As the leaders of this group know well, nothing beats learning this tradition from Native Practitioners and learning in Hawaii. Many mahalos to Gloria Coppola for posting the link to the lecture from Kumu Kaohe Silva. He is one of the best Kumu Lomilomi and was a founder and former President of the Hawaiian Lomilomi Asssociation. I hope to see some of you at the conference.
Aloha nui loa,

Aloha, On this eve of the events of 9/11 its a perfect time to reflect on the Hawaiian principles we all have come to live and love. Know that we are all tied with the aka cords of humanity, and the universal energies of Mana to love, forgive, and reflect on how fortunate we all are to be in this line of work... to heal another human with our touch and to inspire future generations with our actions.

What beautiful thing can you share with your clients today? When your clients speak of drama do you listen and agree or do you call them back to a higher place by asking them about the good, the powerful, the beautiful in their lives? It is unwise to let a client talk about negative things while massaging them... but if you let them talk about power (MANA) food for the body, mind (mana mana) and spirit (mana loa) they will lift off your table inspired for all that awaits them!
