Calvin, there are many schools in any of those places that you mentioned. The biggest Thai Massage teaching scene is in Chiang Mai which is a much more pleasant place to be compared to Bangkok. Chiang Mai is a great place to be except for the hot and dry months of March, April and May. During those months it would be much more pleasant to go to the islands. Ko Phangan is a good place to study since it has a very developed yoga and Thai Massage scene.

Most schools in Thailand are compressing a lot of material into a very short time frame, making it very hard to remember. Don't fall for ads that promote that you can learn Thai Massage in a week or two. If you really want to learn it, plan on spending at least a couple of months in Thailand.

My preference is Chiang Mai, since it has the most choices for schools and there is a large yoga/massage/new age community there which makes it easy to connect with people.

If you want to learn about Thai massage from a slightly different angle, I suggest you download a free video course and with that join an online healing arts community where you have access to lots of Thai Massage information.
