massage and bodywork professionals

a community of practitioners

Yes, I took the photo. I was at a family reunion. They were the oldest and youngest there. If you notice, the child is red-faced from exertion of trying to get down. He really wants nothing to do with his great grandmother. Yet in her eyes, you see more love than imaginable. Her hopes for the child are pure and full of wishes.

I have waited for the right time to use this somewhere and I can not think of a better place than here.

We are the older. I know, "starting out" you wish so much to be "comfortable & confident" in your massage. This comes with practice, learning (never stops) and time. But when you are get there. you will now be the old.

When you "arrive", be sure to pass the torch. Help every therapist you can. You know how hard it is now. Remember this and make it easier for those that follow. Don't judge others because they didn't have as many hours as you, or their school may have been better than yours. Don't judge!

We are here for our clients. Focus on your clients as the woman is to the child. And you will be successful and delighted in this profession.

This picture is wonderful and sends a beautiful message for this group. I have looked at this picture several times. The meeting of the young and the old is always a wonderful meeting. I love the sharing of the wisdom that I can learn from the elders. In this group though I belong to the new wee ones. I don't think we ever really truly arrive. We are always learning.
Thanks, Darcy! It means a lot to me. I have been wanting to use it for years. This is the first time. Glad you like it!
This picture is PRICELESS!
I just love this picture.
