East Coast MT's, if you would like to learn Indian Champissage and/or Kansa Vatki Ayurvedic Foot Massage, please see www.indianchampissage.us for more information (I will be in Canton, CT, August 14 - 17, 2015).
Just posted in the Continuing Education Group: Indian Champissage workshops carry 21 CE hours and the next two dates are in October, in Lakewood, Southern California and in San Bruno,CA, near San Francisco International Airport. It is a head massage technique originating in India. I also teach Kansa Vatki Ayurvedic Foot Massage, which is a one-day workshop carrying 7 CE Hours. Kansa Vatki is very much based on Ayurvedic principles and addresses Marma points. Please see www.indianchampissage.us for more information. Would love to share my passion for either one or both of these modalities with practitioners who are already interested in and/or have knowledge of Ayurveda.
I am offering two unique workshops in the Newark/Wilmington area in late September. The first, Indian Champissage™ (Head Massage) is a 3-day course for 21 CE hours. The second, Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is a 1-day course for 7 CE hours. Both courses are NCBTMB & DE approved. See below for a listing of upcoming workshops in other locations.
What: Indian Champissage™ (Head Massage)
When: Sep 30-Oct 2 (Fri/Sat/Sun) 9:00 - 5:00 each day
Where: Ramada Wilmington/Newark, Chapman Blvd.
Indian Champissage™ has been popular in India for over a thousand years. The head, neck, shoulders and upper back - areas where tension is more likely to accumulate - are gently, firmly and rhythmically massaged until the pressure simply melts away. This unique therapy combines physical and subtle massage with energy balancing to produce feelings of perfect peace. It is a wonderful alternative to seated chair massage.
What: Kansa Vatki Foot Massage
When: Oct 3 (Mon) 9:00 - 5:00
Where: Ramada Wilmington/Newark, Chapman Blvd.
Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is a beautiful and relaxing healthcare modality which balances the body, mind and spirit. This unique treatment, steeped in centuries of Ayurvedic ceremony, incorporates ghee (clarified butter). The heart of the treatment involves vigorously rubbing the soles of the feet with a
3-metal bowl to draw heat and toxins out of the body thereby inducing tremendous relaxation. The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is deeply revitalizing for tired feet and legs, and it makes a perfect addition to reflexology.
