Thanks a bunch Eeris....I have a standard $10 off first visit and $10 off on both ends for referrals. Glad to know the rate is the same...it seems a fair price to me. Hope to see you soon.

Robin- hope your transition to Colorado will be nice and smooth.. i think $60-65 an hr in CO is pretty much the going rate in private practice. It helps to have some attractive deals to get new clients, so offering $$$ off really helps.

to Belem Patton/March 29 comment...Belem...the process is very easy, I just did it myself last October. It's fairly quick, however take note that I completed mine in January of this year and it expires in January of 2011. I can't remember for sure if it's odd numbered years of just every year. To save yourself money, wait until you're sure you're going to be there within 4-5 months.

I will be relocating to Colorado sometime this year. We are looking at the Denver/Arvada, etc area right now. Can anybody give me the typical cost for services, massage/reflexology/energy healing. I want to be as competitive as possible. My cost here in Florida is $60 an hour, as I have not raised my prices for several years because of the local economy (although that is very close to standard). Also, I will be looking for a place to share at first as I will have no clients. Thanks for you input.

FYI--there's a couple of CE classes at the Bodyworlds exhibit next week in Denver. I just got off the phone with the guy and he says there's new displays from the last time they were in town. The prices they have listed here are for AMTA members, but said that he'd be willing to give it to anyone who challenged it because the website doesn't say anything about it.

At any rate, it sounds like a worthwhile way to spend a few hours. I'll be going to the Thursday night one (April 8) if anyone else wants to join me. Deadline to sign up is TOMORROW, April 1.
