Unprofessional Services- What can we do to stop it?

It bothers me to no end when I see or hear about people offering their
"massage services" and claiming to be massage therapists. Its even worse
when they are licensed and are
offering their "services." I want to do what I can to stop these
people. Has anyone done this before? How did you go about it? Any advice
is welcome. Thanks!

Danielle, Hi. Recently a business has opened in my town and the neighboring community offering these types of "massage Parlor" massages. I did some digging on the web via Craig's list, google - which lead me to various other websites offering chat rooms and massage parlor reviews and so much more is out there waiting to be found. I then forwarded the information to our local chief of police, our AMTA-IL chapter president, and the Illinois Dept of Professional Regulations. If we all do this sooner and later this type of "service" will stop claiming to provide massage therapy. Please give it a try and keep me posted on your success. Stacy
