I have not been active for some time due to other commitments, but would like to mention that my latest column article in the mtj recently published. It is titled "Seven Keys to Healthy Neck Posture" and is one of my best articles to date. It discusses the seven most common postural problems for the neck, illustrating the incorrect posture, and then following that with an illustration of how to correct it. The illustrations are top notch. I think that you will not only find the information interesting, but will also find that the article is ideal for copying for your clients who have neck problems. If you do not get the mtj, then you can find a pdf of the article at my website (www.learnmuscles.com) on the articles page. Take a look.
And... if the article spurs anyone to initiate a discussion on biomechanics of the neck and their application to clients with cervical conditions, wonderful!
Great article, Joe. Thanks for the permission to copy it for our clients. This is an excellent client education tool for promoting self-care after treatment....and that makes our treatments more effective and longer lasting.

I read the article in the magazine and found it very informative and helpful for myself as well as my clients..See a lot of clients with forward head posture and find myself a with flexed neck posture . I have mentioned these to my clients to try and do to help with there issues as well as treatment
