I am writing a new course about lymphatic work and will be continuing into the realm of scar tissue release and lymph.  I remember my first class, and how it was streamlined down when I was a teaching assistant a few times over.  What were the things that stuck with you the most in your first lymph class?  What do you think was not helpful?  Thank you to all who post.

Liver drainage - rt. shoulder release.
not helpful - too much lecture on basic anatomy
I am having the most fun using Dr. Chikly's articulation techniques. Getting great results with the vertebrae, tarsals, carpals, fibula, etc. It is so effective! Can't wait to see an articulation class pop up for Houston, TX next year.

The most important was understanding the bodies dependency on the lymph system and how such a light touch can affect the body throughout on a cellular level. There was nothing in the first class I took in 2000 at Touch Therapy Institute from Julie Beck that was not helpful for my clients.

The Asian lymphatics I took (both Korean and Chinese) gave me new insight to affecting the body manually.

Together they have resulted in my development of "Touch of Jade Lymphatic Massage". I am teaching the Deep (Visceral) Lymphatic Massage this week. "touch of Jade is being offered in December.

Iwould say that Lymphatic Massage has been one of the most profound influences on my Therapies. The best modalities I have learned so far that add to my business would be Korean Martial Therapy, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Massage, Lomi Lomi, & Craniosacral Therapy. I strongly recommend these to anyone in hands on healing.
