massage and bodywork professionals

a community of practitioners

I would like to add my support for this group.  The official Erik Dalton site is, indeed, more informative, and includes a directory (limtied), of Myoskeletal therapists. I am certain, however, this site will grow and become more substantial.

A few years ago I purchased the entire video/book collection and studied like crazy everything I could find related to Myoskeletal therapy.  Then, by some Divine lead, I was fortunate to attend last year's workshop in Costa Rica.

Meeting Erik Dalton (and his famous band of Teaching Assistants!), was right up there with some other wonderful life experiences; like seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers or Neil Peart from the second row of the concert hall. Kinda that same sort of whooped up feeling in your chest when you know you are part of something great.  There is a certain strength in humility, competence, in the "mature" teachers like Dr. Dalton. Polished.  Evolved.  Erik Dalton is gracious and authentic in sharing his knowledge, and the techniques I learned have transfomed my practice (and I've been in practice for almost 20 years).  Now that's exciting; to learn techniques which really help clients!

I do not have therapists to practice with in Helena, MT or anyone with whom to discuss the work.  I would like to use this forum to connect.

Thank you. Best Regards, Peg

Thanks for the kind words Peg...good to hear from you again. I believe there are a couple of Myoskeletal groups here on M & B Pros. We used to be very active but many have moved discussions to the Erik Dalton Myoskeletal Therapy Facebook page.

Thanks for getting this started again over here. Maybe we can kick-around up some interesting topics. This week we've been discussing SI joint dysfunction as seen in my most recent e-technique newsletter. I'll be teaching in Chicago and Costa Rica again next year. Hope to see you there....Erik
