If you were at your home and you had to do a massage in the next hour, and realized you were totally out of all of your oils, creams, etc. what would you find around your house to do your massage?

Second question: If you were stranded on a beautiful tropical deserted island and had no access to your oils and creams, what in nature would you use to do a massage?

(I am smiling because I know we are an awesome group of professionals and we are serious about our work, but I also know this may have been a difficult year in a lot of ways, so time for a little laugh and fun. What do you say? (smile)

Aside from never making that error...I always have various oils on hand for cooking & could certainly use them. Then there's the hand creams I always have around.

As to that tropical island, if they had coconuts I'd somehow find a way to get the natural oils from them or some palm trees!
Oh wow a coconut oil massage on a tropical island beach sounds heavenly right now! Excellent Deborah!
Donna, Thanks for the questions! I would use some of the virgin coconut oil I just got for an at-home massage, and on an island, hopefully there would be some avocado trees, would blend it with some coconut water, that would be an interesting mix!
Hmmm. Around the house, I would grab a bottle of olive oil. I actually have a gallon of rosemary-infused olive oil that use for a scalp massage treatment and have also incorporated into hot stone massage.

On a deserted tropical island, I would probably use the rendered and clarified fat of whatever animal I managed to grab ahold of and eat. Either that or spit. ;D (Yes, I'm kidding.)
LOL. Very creative ladies! Thanks!
Around the hose if worse came to worse butter or vegetable oil, lol.

On an island I would start of with a body scrub with the wet sand that was filled with salt from the sea. Then wrap the body in seaweed. After washing it off I think I would massage in the coconut cream from inside the nut which would also make a good sunscreen. I guess it all depends on what you have access to.
Wow! It sounds delightful!

I like how creative you are Joseph! butter, sand scrub...

Ok around the house- no oils left? I hope i will have some avocados, or bananas... maybe whipped cream???
On the island- I will use my feet..
fun question..
Corn starch makes a wonderful lubricant, I occasionally use it on feet, but it works well on the whole body. Easy to dust-off afterwards, too.
Everyone is so creative! I love it!
