BECOME A CONTINUING EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR
Upcoming class in Raleigh, North Carolina - Thursday-Sunday, July 22-25, 2010 for 24CEs.

Teaching Skills for the Workshop Leader

Please join me for this 4-day hands-on course, in which those who aspire to teach at the professional continuing education level will prepare for the application process and delve into the principles of adult learning. This is a true workshop. Yes, you will get lots of information. But you will also put what you learn to use right in this workshop. Come prepared to write syllabi, learning objectives and lesson plans for your class, actually try out part of your presentation with your classmates, prepare a written plan for implementation of your marketing strategy, decide what level of certification is right for you, and if it is National Certification, actually begin to fill out the NCBTMB application in class.

Times: 9:30AM to 6:00PM on Thursday -Saturday. 9:30AM to 12:30PM on Sunday. Additional optional non-credit hours on Sunday 1:30PM-3:30PM

Greta, you have an awesome background!
When I attended Mtn Heart School in 2001, I knew very little about the field. I love massage because of the time I get to spend with people. Watching someone shed their "armour" and drift into a state of peace is divine, for me. I love providing that space...as far as business goes. Well, I moved into a very small town with many misconceptions about massage after doing massage in Telluride, CO for years--what a change!! But, it has been wonderful. I have had the pleasure of introducing massage to many and meeting them on their comfort level, keeps them coming back. I recently moved to Wilmington, NC to be with my "honey:)" and still travel to Graham once a month for a week because the clients keep pouring in!! Wilmington is taking a bit longer to build up--Lesson Learned:::Find the newbies and wow them. Most of my monthly clients are by no means rich-they make their time with me a priority, because I make them a priority.

There is no guidebook that will fill in the blanks, this profession is wide open. Be who you are and those who will benefit from you, will find you.

Best wishes and if you ever want to chat-970-519-1269
