Meir Schneider's Movement for Self Healing

Blind with an unrestricted Driver's License, Meir Schneider has developed his system of healing by working with his own disability. He has expanded it over the years as he discovered the effects movement has on illness. He has enabled 100's of MD patients to get out of wheel chairs. His class enabled me to put away my bifocals 10 years ago.

He modified the Bates Method  http://www.i-see.org/bates_nutshell.html to improve his vision, having been born with cataracts. At 4 surgery made his eyes worse. From the Bates Method he has added and modified to develop this system. Some of the system is obviously from his own blind experience using techniques of using braille, walking patterns and his unique sensitivity.

If you have a chance I recommend taking a course with him in San Francisco. Bring a special client with you to work together. One of the wonderful experiences is that you work in class with not only other students but his patients as well.
