How Are You Going To Approach The New Year?

So here we go! It's a new year, the economy seems to be improving and massage is more popular than ever!

What are you going to do to make massage bigger and better?

Hi Mike, great discussion topic. I am a big believer in active reflection and have been pondering this question for the past few weeks.
2010 will take me out of the clinic setting and into the community as I establish regular information sessions with my local child health nurse and maternity hospital on the importance of self care after pregnancy and beyond. Along side this I have set up a half a day session where mums (and dads) can come for a half an hour massage for a minimal fee and be nurtured whilst their babe is cared for by a child care student. I have been in contact with my local college and have been able to recruit massage students to perform the massages for parents, it gives them experience and its putting something back into the community.

Mike, I'm having to reschedule all my clients today, yesterday and tomorrow because I've got a bad cold! Ughhh!!! Talk about a not so good start to the New Year.

Twenty ten is going to be the best one yet. I got myself a good Franklin Covey kick ass organizer and I've got my lists ready to go. I'm making a point of doing some stuff that's taking me out of my comfort zone this year. Sometimes we gotta do that to make progress!
