Hi I was wondering if anyone knows an online class of sorts for the rainbow technique. I'm here in Mass and there are no practitioners that do this type of technique. Thank you all

In North Dallas, there will be a Raindrop Technique class on July 28. This will be 7 hours of training (I am Texas CE provider and MTI) plus an hour for lunch.  We will of course do the Raindrop Technique and in addition will look closely at the muscles and reflex points we work on and learn some basics about chemistry of essential oils and distillation... this is critical to understand the concept of quality.  We will cover issues like the sensitivity to oils and what to do and what to watch out for in client history.  Every one gives and receives a Raindrop. I took the CARE Intensive Raindrop Technique class in 2007 in Hendersonville, TN under Gaia Tossing. It was an absolutely awesome class. I didn't want to go home after the three days were over as it was sort of a retreat atmosphere. I guess I have given well over one hundred sessions....my clients love it! I've noticed that indeed most clients are sensitive around their neck area, I usually apply some V6 oil to this area before I apply any of the oils to the back. The V6 slows the absorption rate down for the oregano and thyme, these are the only two oils that I have found to be "hot". I take away very positive things when I give a Raindrop as well as my client. As a FYI note: I put my moistened towel into a small sized crock pot and turn it on high at the beginning of the session. When we get to the last part to apply the hot compress, the temprature is about perfect, much hotter than you can handle in your hands at the sink

Gloria,
I find that most people are only sensitive around the neck area. Would it work to put lavender on after you see they are sensitive? Otherwise how do you know?

I also offer Raindrop Therapy classes. If anyone is trying these products on their own, please be advised these oils are very volatile. Suggestion: Place lavender oil on the spine first to avoid excessive burning on sensitive patients.
