Become a Continuing Education Provider- or just teach like one!

Teaching Skills for the Workshop Leader

Raleigh, North Carolina - Friday-Monday, March 18-21, 2011
Times: 9:30AM to 6:00PM on Friday -Sunday. 9:30AM to 12:30PM on Monday. Additional optional non-credit hours on Monday 1:30PM-3:30PM

Location: Fairfield Inn & Suites RDU Airport/Brier Creek, Raleigh, NC

This is a true workshop, limited to 10 participants. Yes, you will get lots of information about designing your class, marketing it, and actually teaching it. But you will also put what you learn to use right in this workshop. Come prepared to write syllabi, learning objectives and lesson plans for your class, actually try out part of your presentation with your classmates, prepare a written plan for implementation of your marketing strategy, decide what level of certification is right for you, and if it is National Certification, actually begin to fill out the NCBTMB application at the end of the class. The learning you will get in this class will apply to all state agency requirements, and even other disciplines.

Visit www.dynamicequilibrium.com/TSWL-ClassDescription.htm for details.

I would like to extend an invitation to list in my holistic wellness
directory. The basic listing is free. The premium listing is $20/year

Looking forward to networking with you. The link is http://www.synergisticcenter.com/Directory-listing-form.html.
I have a separate directory for massage therapists and also for energy workers.

Welcome to the group and to TN Steven.
Spring brough a major flood to my area, Thank Heaven our home wasn't affected but several of my friends and my massage school and school owners home was. Glad the the AMTA TN chapter and other MBI alumni & students pulled through to support MajLis and Darrell in their time of need.

I am new to this group, but come to Tennessee with 30 years experience. I have taught in NY, CT, MN and Knoxville. Currently I am in the process of opening a clinic in Sneedville (Eastern TN) After the clinic is open, I will be planning to start up teaching workshops and programs on Shiatsu again. I am looking forward to learning more about the Tennessee community and working together with everyone.
