Prescriptions for Massage??

Good morning UK people.
I have an interesting question for you all regarding a doctor Prescribing Massage treatment.
In the US when a Dr refers a patient for Massage, it would be the Insurance company that would be billed for services.

However with the NHS etc in the UK does anyone know how this would work?
Would the patient have to foot the bill, or are we able to invoice the NHS for services rendered based on the prescription?
