Anyone in Maryland have ideas about how I could get the word out about my continuing ed class at the Holistic Massage Training Institute in Baltimore? It's the first time I'm teaching in Maryland (my home state) and would love some direction! Class is June 15th.
I have just joined your group and I wanted to introduce myself to you. I am Njideka Olatunde my modality is Reflexology. I have been a practitioner and certifying instructor for over 20 years based in Washington, DC. I look forward to supporting and working together in sharing information that can benefit and enhance professionally our modalities.
Hi! It's been a while since I've been here! I've been getting request for massage in MD - mainly chair massage. I would like to grow my practice and see this as a way to do that since I provide in-home and corporate chair massage. I noticed that MD has Registered Massage Practitioners and LMTs. Is there typically a pay difference? I saw the functions are different (RMP can only do relaxation massage, no therapeutic work) so I was assuming so. I did have a request for Baltimore which sounded great but of course I was pricing off of LMTs based in the DC area so the cost was a bit more than expected.
