How to Create Websites/Blogs

Websites are now really the foundation of a successful massage business. It is important to understand the process so that you can do it yourself or hire someone to do it right for you. A website should be all about getting results!

Social Media

Social media have changed the way the marketing game is played out online. These services are creating a more level field in the marketing world because you no longer need fat advertising budgets to divulgate your content. It is now all about getting people to become interested, join, friend, fan, or follow whatever conversation you are having: whether this is about a service, a product, or a cause.

Social media enable viral growth of your online message, create easy SEO opportunities, build community around your offering, and are a simple and fun way to begin to stake out a piece of the virtual real estate that is freely available online.

My guide to social media is Mashable. For microblogging, I use Microblink, and for blogging, ProBlogger.

See you online,
Alex

You, my massage therapy friend have really opened my eyes to this new age of marketing...more so than my so called 'expert" friends. Thank you. If I can ever help you in anyway, please do not hesitate to ask. Too bad we can't do an 'exchange"...always a benefit of being an LMT :) Check out my website ( still working on content) www.essentialmassagetherapy.net

    Every day is an adventure,

Here's the ironic fact in my life right now. I work fulltime at my "day job", and I don't want to grow a large massage practice. I'm happy with what I have, with maybe a few more regular clients. However, if I did want to grow my practice, I could do it very fast, just using the connections I've made using LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. So, I've focused my attention on being a social media specialist. I know how I would build my massage practice, and I can help others do what I would do. If you want to reach people with expandable income, the social media site of choice is LinkedIn. www.Hubspot.com offers many free webinars and tutorials to help you get started. Once you get started, you'll be amazed at how many resources there are available. My facebook fanpage includes a lot of llinks to valuable resources. www.facebook.com/ReachThemOnline1 My Twitter name is @ReachThemOnline
