Family Constellations are a powerful form of energy healing that reveals the hidden dynamics in Family systems. They create a living model of the family that begins an exploration of the deeper reasons for emotional distress, trauma, illnesses and spiritual confusion. Constellations can provide healing for self, family and ancestors. Developed by Bert Hellinger, a German psychologist, Constellations often disclose the deeper elements and dynamics behind suffering that results from tragedy, neglect, abuse, disappointment, estrangement and violence.

Individual constellations may include the use of visualization techniques to reveal family dynamics or it may involve the use of wooden figures to "represent" family members, ancestors or aspects of a family system. During the process, hidden connections, issues and confusions are revealed and explored. During the group process volunteers are asked to represent individuals or elements from a family system. Often these representatives do not know beforehand whom they are representing in the family, yet they manifest them often in great detail and help to reveal what is hidden. Constellations are not a form of psychotherapy.

About Me

Barry Krost has been a Bodywork Therapist and Energy Healer for 33 years with training that includes Ortho-Bionomy, Family Constellations, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Chapman's Reflexes and Energy Techniques.

Barry is an Advanced Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy®. He is also certified in Family and Systemic Constellations. A graduate of the Chicago School of Massage in 1983, Barry has over 3500 hours of training in Bodywork and Energy Healing modalities. He has evolved from Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue in his earliest of days to more holistic forms of therapy.
