I have had a massage practice in Beachwood, Ohio for several years. I practice prenatal massage, deep tissue, hot stone, couples, and sports massage. We specialize in prenatal and couples massage. I walked away from corporate America several years ago in order to pursue a career in the health and wellness field. The first part of that journey was to become a licensed massage therapist. It has proven to be very rewarding.
I have had my practice for almost 5 years and I make EXCELLENT income. My income averages about $1000 a week on good weeks and this is with me working seriously PART-TIME. I seriously limit how many massages I do because I am shooting for a 20 year career. I could easily be making more than this but I do not WANT to. I am getting ready to create a website just for massage therapists that will help you all build successful practices and make some real money in this field. I have already added a section for massage therapists on my new website and blog for our office and then I will create the stand-alone site from there so I welcome any ideas you have. Feel free to write me and tell me the challenges you are facing out there in building your own massage therapy practice.See this full blog post at: http://www.ohiosbestmassage.com/marketing-ideas-for-massage-therapists/
