In response to your query about upper ribcage pain in your pregnant client, I would suggest that she might be experiencing referred pain from trigger points located within the scalenes muscle group. This comes about due to a shortening of the scalenes as the pregnant posture changes and creates structural imbalance. Id give releasing scalenes, pec minor and the whole shoulder girdle a go. I would also be inclined to do MFR and foot relfexolgy.
