First of all, the more common name of Irvingia Gabonensis is the African Mango Pure, because the fruit of the tree most closely resembles a mango in look and taste. In fact, it is not even the fruit itself we are talking about but instead, the seeds. Tribesmen in Cameroon have been using the seeds for centuries…they would eat the seeds on long hunts to help them ward off hunger.
