Since I was young I have always had the ability to sense pain and sadness in others and it has always been natural to me to want to heal them. As I grew older and began to think about what my career in life would be I knew that helping people was my ultimate goal. I originally thought that psychology was the way for me to do this but I eventually realized that it was not enough. When I returned to South Florida and was introduced to massage therapy at Florida Career College I knew that that was what I was meant to do! I needed to touch people to help them because I could always sense a body in need.
The reason I needed to become a therapist- to help people achieve health and wellness through touch. I admit that I am young and can be stubborn but I am passionate and talented. I have a strong belief in how massage can positively impact people’s lives and have the education, intuition and desire to make that difference everyday. I am ecstatic, to say the least, to start my career as a Licensed Massage Therapist and explore the boundless opportunities to help people achieve health and relaxation through massage.
