Shama Kern is the founder and director of Thai Healing Massage Academy, the top online Thai Massage training institute with 19 unique and specialized Thai Massage training programs for online and home study. Students can learn in an interactive forum environment with direct access to the teacher.

Shama Kern has has been living in Thailand for well over a decade, practicing and teaching Thai Massage in the heartland of this modality. He is also an NCBTMB approved continuing education provider.

He developed his own unique style of Thai Massage which is closely related to yoga. It goes beyond the mechanical aspects of the techniques and involves working with breath, energy, intuition, and perfect ergonomics.

Shama has also developed two other unique bodywork styles:

1. Heavenly Head Massage - this is purely upper body work, focusing on upper chest, neck, head and face. This style blends truly heavenly massage techniques with energy work.

2. Thai Rocking Massage - this initially grew out of Thai massage, but converts all techniques into continuous motion and rocking techniques. This modality is amazingly effective at dealing with any restrictions, physical and emotional blockages, and limited range of motion issues in the body.
