After only two years of being an employee, I'm already fed up and ready to start my own massage biz! After reading a few articles, I want to know more about billing insurance. Working in Southern California, I would appreciate any and all advice about seeking clients whom receive insurance reimbursement.

You could team up with a Chiropractor who can bill insurance. If you really want to do it on your own contact the insurance companies (not many left in SoCal) and get their providers packet. But first get an NPI number.

It takes time and needs perseverance. Also payment is delayed.

What I have done is worked with an attorney to do some accident cases. But this takes about 1-1.5 years to get the check. It is best to have the accident victim pay out of pocket and they submit to claim but you need to do that with the attorney.
