ALLIANCE gains MASSAGE TODAY as its FIRST MAJOR SPONSOR

The Alliance for Massage Therapy Education, a non-profit organization for massage schools and educators, is pleased to announce that the noted publication Massage Today has become an Associate Member of the Alliance and is its first major annual sponsor. As part of this commitment, Massage Today will be the top sponsor for the Alliance’s First Annual Conference in Park City, Utah on June 3-5.

According to Sandra Pearce, Marketing Manager for Massage Today, “We recognize the central role education plays in the quality of massage that is delivered to the public, and in the successful practice of massage by therapists at all stages of their careers. We are honored to support the Alliance and its mission, and believe this organization is well-positioned to make a positive impact in the massage therapy profession.”

Massage Today, the largest independent publication in the profession and the only one published monthly, reaches 57,000 massage therapists with 12 issues per year. It is owned by MPA Media of Huntington Beach, California, which also publishes the professional journals Dynamic Chiropractic and Acupuncture Today.

Registrations are still being taken for the Alliance Annual Conference. The deadline for hotel reservations under the guaranteed group rate of just $119/night is April 19th.

The Alliance wishes to announce that a very limited number of sponsorships and exhibit spaces are still available for this inaugural event. Exhibitors who will be at the Conference include Oakworks, NCBTMB, Books of Discovery, Massage Therapy Foundation, and The Art of Admissions. Interested vendors should call Shane Robinson, Managing Director at 703-506-2888, or email srobinson@afmte.org.
