Deep Listening Retreat at Omega Institute June 27-July 2

Deep Listening:
Cultivating the Wisdom of the Body
through Meditation, the Alexander Technique, and Focusing
with Hope Martin & David I. Rome
at The Omega Institute

Deep Listening is a powerful training for teachers, helping professionals, and anyone wanting to feel more authentic and friendly with themself and with others.

In this retreat you will learn three profound mind-body practices: Meditation, the Alexander Technique, and Focusing to defuse misunderstanding and make communication clearer and more effective. As we are more present with others, we become more present to the deeper aspects of ourself. Renewed in ourself, we are able to have more intuitive, nourishing, and alive interactions with clients and others.

This Deep Listening training cultivates three core skills:
* Noticing and suspending habitual patterns
* Developing empathy for self and others
* Listening and behaving from a deep, embodied awareness

The week includes periods of meditation, experiential exercises, one-on-one listening partnerships, and discussion. No experience in bodywork or meditation is necessary.
