If blogs like this don't make seem like a bit of a freak when it comes to learning, I just don't know what to say. It's like an
obsession. Once there is an idea in my head I can't help but become an
investigator or self-proclaimed researcher until I start finding people
who sound like they have some answers.
A young woman I met last year at IDEA corresponds with me and follows my work from time to time. After the blog on enzymes, she emailed me
telling me she is seeing a practitioner who's trained in the Loomis
System of Enzyme Nutrition. I went on line to see what it was.
AWESOME!!! Now here's a doctor with some education and answers to what we are looking for about enzymes. This site has multiple articles
that really have some intriguing information. One article was about the stomach and digestion
where Dr. Howard Loomis Jr., D.C., F.I.A.C.A discusses his interests in
nutritional food enzymes. He has a recognized, proven method of
determining nutritional stress on the body.
I have emailed him and hope to find more information on this topic and some others I have on my mind today. Some of the articles listed on his site include:
- Antacids, Laxatives, and Pain Relievers
- Why Food Enzymes are Important
- What do Plant Enzymes do?
- Digestion in the Stomach
- Heartburn
- Indigestion
- The Gallbladder Syndrome
- Constipation
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Autointoxication
Now tell me we don't need to know this guy?! I've read through three of the short articles already and hope to have some more to help those of you who really need to know more about this topic!
You can thank Hozumi who told me about her pursuits with the Loomis Institute for this new obsession of mine! Keep it healthy all! More to come...
