massage and bodywork professionals

a community of practitioners

To have a network of massage professionals is wonderful! I am thrilled to now be working full time in massage. I find clothing can be distracting. As I bend and move during a session, my pants sometimes pull at the knees. It seems that cotton sweat pants move and stretch the best, but not professional looking enough. Does anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

Target has a nice variety of pants and capris that are made of 100% cotton and very confortable. They come in a variety of colors and are very reasonably priced.

Hi Susan,

I wear nylon mesh double layered work out pants, like basketball players wear, prior to the game. Not the kind with snap buttons. The kind you pull on, with a tie inside the front. They are light and movable. The only thing is they don't have a back pocket.

In the past I've bought pants that are dressy and are made with stretch material, that way I still look professional and get freedom of movement.
