Massage Without Borders

A newly formed non profit charitable organization has been formed to help our Massage Therapists Colleagues!

It all started from answering the call of an angel (literally) who wanted to help her colleague get a table when hers was completely damaged after Hurricane Sandy.

Today, a board of 5 members, an executive director and over 30 volunteers across the U.S. have come together to support this mission for the Future of our MT's in less than 1 month.

The ABMP is our official 2013 T Shirt Sponsor along with BioFreeze, Massage Pro C.E., Erik Dalton, DayBreak Geriatric Massage, F.A. Davis Publishers, Mother Earth Pillows, The Pampered Spirit, and many more!!

Currently, we have a fund raiser "ADOPT AN MT for the Holiday". Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help a colleague who meets the eligibility requirements . This will be determined on Dec 22nd, 2012 by our Board Members.

Do you think it's time for an organization that can step in and help during times of disaster or crisis?

How do you see yourself contributing to support this mission? Would you like to volunteer?

Wouldn't it be awesome if we had a fund for scholarships we can award when financial need is warranted?

There are so many dreams and ideas. We hope you will spread the word, contribute when you can, sponsor a fund raising event and find a benefactor who loves massage and wants to help too!

It's only been one month in existence and we been fortunate to receive donations from Oakworks, EarthLight, American 3 B, Master Massage, One Concept and Custom Craftworks to provide massage tables to those who lost theirs in Hurricane sandy. We have also been able to gift some colleagues with gift cards provided by Massage Magazine and Massage Pro C.E.
