I have been a massage therapist for 13 years and I am starting to feel a bit tired, so I have been contemplating learning a new moditly to help others without, depending on using so much physical strength . Any suggestions for me. I live in Michigan. Thanks everyone

I became a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner because I feeling the same way.  I love it! Also, craniosacral therapy might be an option.

Hey Noreen. Could you elaborate a little bit on what you mean by 'a bit tired"? I'd just like to know to better understand what might happen down the line, as I am a brand new therapist.

Hi Noreen, I read your post and understand what you mean. Rubbing gets tiring after awhile. I assume you entered into the bodywork field to help erase pain and restore flexibility and structural integrity as much as possible.  I graduated from massage school in 88 and did my last resemblance of massage by the end of that year and have never gone back to rubbing.

The question is what else is there? I suggest you take a look at Polarity and Touch for Health. If you can figure out how to combine both of those you will have new way of practicing bodywork that will not tax your body.  However such learning is not easy and would require you to feel and no longer push. That is where I see most practitioner battle with learning different modalities.
