I have been recently turned on to Alba lotion! It is awesome! And I can buy it locally at my favorite health food store ...any reason to support this healing sweet family. It is unscented and affords great glide and deep tissue as well. Here in south texas the oil thing was nooooooo good, except in the case of stone massage, and until I discovered that some dawn dishwashing soap in the laundry, I could not get the stains out...very attractive for the next clients LOL. It is less expensive than some and more so than others...but i find I use less! At a class years ago, aquamarine was recommended and I used that for 10 years..the stuff is water based and cheap cheap cheap and available at the grocery store...but reapplication is frequent. I like coconut oil and really fell in love with avocado oil...oooh the texture..but ooooh the price. The only thing with coconut oil is you have to warm it or it will solidify!
I recently became an addict for Aura Cacia's massage creams. They are really thick with an almost gel-like texture. There are about 6 different "flavors" to choose from and smell fabulous. You spend some cash for them though. A 4oz. bottle is $9.00. HOWEVER, for a full body massage you will only use approximately one tablespoon. Go to www.auracacia.com to research the company's mission and product list.

After trying others, I keep returning to Biotone's Dual Purpose creme. For stone massage I use Sweet Almond Oil with/without an essential oil.
