I treat a different albeit proximal part of the nervous system which is involved in reflexes and musculoskeletl function. I treat Types 1-4 articular mechanoreceptors. I treat the whole body, but do so in a variety of contexts, such as (albeit not limited to) neutral, end-range extension and very important: end-range flexion. The body presents differently in each context though the last position is a gold mine. Specifically I am referring to "Muslim Prayer" or in Yoga; "child's Pose". I treat with mild force applied for several minutes to allow viscoelastic creep. connective tissue, joints are made up of connective tissue that possesses viscoelastic properties, so it is reasonable to address those properties. the body is linked. when I find a joint dysfunction on one side of the body, I look for an opposite type of dysfunction on the opposite side of the body. I like to start with the lowest denominator of a structural dysfunction.
