Tanya, I forgot to mention one other thing unrelated to your question but which you might find of interest. In September each year there is a group of Massage Therapists who volunteer their time (basically for food) to support the annual Emigrant Trail Bike Trek fundraiser for SacBreathe, a clean air organization in Sacramento. The last couple years, the Trek has been in Napa and we set up our tables for massage as the riders come in off their daily ride. If that interests you at all, feel free to contact Stu Gluckman who is the Massage Team coordinator for the trek. He lives out your way but can't recall exactly where. His e-mail address is: SpiritTch@aol.com.
Hi, Tanya. Thanks for the note. Actually, there is a school in Davis (Massage Therapy Institute) where I have taken some continuing ed courses, although it's been a while.
MTI offers a full range of courses including some medical massage courses. Their website is at http://www.mtidavis.com/ if you want to check them out. It's a little bit of a hike from Roseville but most of their classes are only two or three days, many on the weekends.
