HI recently I have been practicing Reiki incorporating Chakra/ Plantary Tuning Forks. I have not had a formal tuning Fork class, but follow Eileen McCusick a bit.

just recently took a 2 day intensive in sound therapy and tuning forks.

I got to actually see and feel  the wonderful things that this modality can add.

Like magnet therapy, I am totally sold on this one and will use this therapy with my clients when ever I can.

it is truly a blessing!

Most sessions in my practice are integrated massage or a specific bodywork modality. I keep my Ohm and Otto Tuner tuning forks handy and use them when indicated or requested by the client. I hope to learn more in this group about the practical applications other MTs are finding for tuning forks.

I am looking for an article for my website about tuning fork therapy and why massage therapists choose to study it. If anyone who teaches is interested in writing about this please let me know. Just need a short article-not printed somewhere else. Thanks!

Don't know anything about this course. Would be nice if they had a little more info on the instructor. Course price isn't bad though. I would check to see what IAST has to offer before jumping on this one.

Thanks Diedre! I found this class http://www.tuningforktherapy.com/custom4.html and it is NCBTMB certified for CEU's. Do you or anyone know anything about it?

MaryEllen, would love to know where you got the pentatonic forks.

Amy below is the link to get you to the study program. The beginner set is also good. I have the complete set C through C, four Otto tuners and the angel set. But, if you buy the study program, you get a 10% discount on the tuning forks, so you might want to start there and then call them to discuss the best set of forks to get.

Good luck. and feel free to contact me for any help on this. I loved this program, as well as studying with John and some of his other students.

Diedre - I was just on Biosonic's website and can't find the online/home study course. Do you also recommend his started package for 89.95?
