Instant Gift Certificates

My "green" little heart went all soft when I came across this! For those of you with websites go to thegiftcardcafe.com and sign up for their "free" membership. This company allows you to set up an online instant gift certificate button. You can set up packages or dollar amounts, whatever floats your boat! They take 8% per transaction (covers merchant fees), which if you sell a $50 certificate they keep $4. Not bad in comparison to having your own credit card terminal. They will direct deposit all purchases in your specified account by the 15th and the last day of the month. Your membership with them also allows you to track all purchases. Take a look and read all the fine print. Online shopping is only getting bigger, why not get your own piece of the action and go green as well?!?!?

Hi Melissa,

I couldn't agree with you more about online shopping. I know I use it more and more every year and so do my family and friends. And if you already have a website, why not? I think you can do the same thing with a PayPal button on your website too.

Yep yep, I just added them to my website last week I believe. No sales yet, but no sweat, when it's free! Super helpful for those midnight internet shoppers! ;)

I like the website www.spaboom.com. It only takes a 2 day process for the $$ to be direct deposited into your bank account instead of waiting for the $$ until the 15th and the last day of the month. I have had customers who love the easy on-line purchase & they can print the gift certificate directly from their own computer. So I'd also check out http://www.spaboom.com

Options are a beautiful thing! Spa Boom requires a $99 set up fee. Not bad. Turn around is better, and you only pay 5% per transaction. Again, not bad. I think it entirely depends on your financial situation. Or if you've never tried online gift certificates before. Take a look at them both!
