Since Noreen posted up about her room I thought what a light-hearted way to share our styles and sensibilities by posting up photos of our rooms. I can't help but feel your room reflects on your personality and the type of treatment you offer. Here's mine...

for me, my room is FAR from what I'd like to see. No money and being in a rental has had me keep to things I had already. When I get truly settled into a place, I will use most of what's in there now, with some added furniture and most definitely COLOR on the wall. I'll probably go with a moss green. I love earth tones and incorporating plants and earth elements like wood and metal.

The waiting area that I share with 3 other tenants:

And you're right about the room showing someone's personality since mine is boring and simple. The black and white photos mean something to me since 2 of them are places in Ireland that have sentimental value for me. The thing is the corner is for Irish Stew.
(that was a joke about the Stew, by the way, but I have to brag about the fact that I make a mean Irish Stew)

A recent addition to my room is actually IN my linen cupboard (ignore the mess of it). It's my wee pink MTF box. The purpose of my wee pink MTF box is to give part of my tips to the massage therapy foundation (the level of which I know I won't miss). Today I even chucked a lucky penny I found in there. The plan is to clear it out every quarter.

Yep, the wee pink MTF box is about the most exciting thing in my room.

My clinic, THERA-SSAGE, has 9 treatment rooms, a classroom, a sauna room, etc. Instead of taking up so much space on here, you can visit this public link to my FB album of office pictures.
Hi Terry, I am considering moving from a smaller one room space to a space 2x the size, with an office space and a massage space for 1/3 the cost of the place I am in now. The new space is on the basement level, with very very little natural light. Currently I have two windows that face east, and have 4 small plants in my office. I would appreciate your thoughts on being in a space without natural light. Thanks! Linda

Lisa - Thanks! Great idea for a thread. I am setting up new office next week and it is great to see what other MT's are doing. I will have natural light for the 1st time in a long time (a nice size window) and I am looking forward to having living plants in my space. The walls are a nice shade of soft blue-green currently. So I have my color scheme...it is fun to think about what else belongs in this space. Will post it up when it's ready...if I can figure out how to do that (lol). PS - I really like how you decorated your treatment room.
here is my office space> better late than never.
