Florida House Panel OK's Anti-Prostitution Measure For Massage Establishments
Florida seems to be heading toward a bi-partisan approach towards massage establishments repeatedly allowing prostitution in their businesses.

This is the verbage on the Bill....
GENERAL BILL by Full Appropriations Council on Education & Economic Development and Insurance, Business & Financial Affairs Policy Committee and Burgin (CO-SPONSORS) Sachs
Human Trafficking: Specifies documents that must be possessed by person providing or offering to provide massage services in certain circumstances; requires presentation of such documents upon request of law enforcement officer; requires operators of massage establishments to maintain valid work authorization documents on premises for each employee who is not U.S. citizen; requires presentation of documents upon request of law enforcement officer; prohibits person from providing or offering to provide massage services without possession of license & specified documentation; prohibits use of massage establishment license for purpose of lewdness, assignation, or prostitution.
Effective Date: July 1, 2010

i don't see how this bill is going to change anything. people who offer extras are sometimes valid license holders that do it under the radar. last i checked anyhow. if i'm not mistaken...all i see this bill doing is giving cops more rights to investigate anyone or any establishment it wants.
am i misreading this?

I think you read it right. It seems to reinforce existing laws. Probably in response to court decisions resulting from sharp defense lawyers hired by operators who were busted for having illegals offering the extras.

Personal feelings regarding sex and prostitution. I am an Asexual female, sick and tired of any/all conversations revolving around or about sex. I became this way in 2005 with the death of Terri Schiavo a TBI survivor and health professional at the hands of her husband Mike, TN Senator former governor Lamar Alexander and men in the courts in general. He killed her I will always believe. Then comes Lee Peterson, then the cop named Peterson, then the guy in the Northwest and currently the guy in the Utah area. Each of them were involved with others not their WIFE when their spouse oops disappeared or found dead. I say ALL men are castrated at birth, yes I know that will diminish the population but it will also stop sexual predators.

What does Terri Schiavo have to do with this???? WOW You are seriously nutty. Her wishes were to not remain on life support. The courts decided it. Her husband had power of attorney. She was in a persistent vegetative state for FOURTEEN YEARS. The autopsy showed that her brain weighed only 615 g, only half the weight expected for a female of her age, height, and weight. Microscopic examination revealed extensive damage to nearly all brain regions. SHE WAS DEAD!!! Why is that so hard for some people to understand? As far as your feelings towards men goes... you really should seek help. Otherwise you will live a lonely bitter life

Wow!! how can you be an LMT with such hatred for a whole group of people? Part of OUR training is nuturing and connecting to someone. Do you only take female clients?
Really...we've all been burned by the opposite sex at some time or another. and we've all seen people who cheat (both men AND women). sounds to me like you got more going on than what this thread's original topic intended.
