I feel this way about cuddling. I watch my cats often, and they have a way of cuddling that is attentive and supportive that humans could learn from.

Well there are real hugs, and fake hugs....lol    Real hugs are good.

I've been with ABMP and in the profession for almost a decade now. After a career in newspaper journalism, I was stunned and thrilled by all the hugs from the bodyworkers I started meeting in autumn of 2002. And I count on one hand the hugs that didn't feel genuine. A beautiful thing about our profession! Healthy, nurturing, supportive, and inspiring touch. Yes, "real hugs are good"!
