Hello All: Can anyone recommend an Infant Craniosacral Training in California besides Carol Grey and Hugh Milne, who no longer offers this speciality.
Many thanks!

I don't know....but that somehow seems sort of extreme and unnecessary. But I know nothing about it so? What would be the purpose? I would think that nursing and sleeping with your baby as being more important to the infants health.. But like I said... I know nothing about it?
The generally accepted theory is that even just a couple of well-done CST sessions with an infant can set them up to have about 50% fewer issues in life than they would have normally. It helps to undo the stress of childbirth, changes to the skull that happen due to imbalances in the mother's pelvis, and also aids in undoing the issues introduced by well-meaning but not-helpful doctors during the delivery process.
Additionally, when the infant has the opportunity to quite literally straighten themselves out, they re-bond with the mother in a whole new way, creating a much stronger mother/child bond.
It's really way cool stuff!
I'm taking the Upledger CST for Pediatrics class in Florida in January 2013. I'm excited!
I'm happy for you, Therese. You'll work your fanny off as usual, and come away from the sessions with all the knowledge available. I'd want a lot of training with supervision before I set about manipulating the soft cranial bones of an infant.
I've never heard of it but it sounds great.
Thanks Gary! One of my CST Teaching Assistants (he's from Texas, so you need to hear this with the drawl!) says that "each one of these classes is like drinking from a fire hose"!
I was terrified before I worked on my first child client - the autistic son of a very good friend of ours. He was 5 when I started working on him earlier this year. I get excited when I work on adults and get life-changing results but there is nothing like the feeling of getting those changes in a child! Infants still scare me - I've never had kids! But I think after the class I'll have a lot more confidence.
Lee, what I've learned about it so far is really exciting and I can't wait to know more!!
