Insurance billing question
Can massage therapists bill CPT code 97110 - Theraputic exercise? Sometimes, with the right client, I teach a few simple exercises in order to aid their recovery between sessions.

Depends on the state. My state board specifically prohibits LMTs from providing any exercise advice as that comes under purview of certified personal trainer. So, regardless of the opinion of insurance, in my state, exercise instruction is a nono.
I do, though, as many also do, but just give a simple demo by me and stated as a suggestion, I don't engage in detailed instructions.
