massage and bodywork professionals

a community of practitioners

I want to send a massage introduction letter to other health care professionals like chiropractors, etc so they can refer me clients.
I just don't  know what exactly to put in this letter, I've been looking for templates to have an idea but I haven't found anything, any help would be great.

Thanks

Diana Thompson has some great books out that can help with your letter. Sorry I don't have the names right now of the books.
Also make sure you let the Chiropractors know what makes you different from all the others in town and be confident, not arrogant but confident. Have you tried to Google for help on letters? Good luck!! Oh when i first started 9 years ago I offered a free massage to the health care professionals so they could experience my massage.

Marla
Thank You Marla, Yes if have tried googling letter templates but haven't found anything yet, I will check on those books.
Here's the one I drafted (but haven't sent out yet):
Dear Dr. Smith,

My name is Lisa Mellers and I am a licensed massage therapist. I am writing to you as a way of introducing myself and would like to discuss how massage fits in with your practice.

First let me tell you a little about myself. I am a graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT) with 720 hours of training. CCMT is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA). I am a TX state licensed massage therapist as well as certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). I moved myself and my two children to Wylie, TX from Connecticut, back in July 2008.

I am currently working with several clients from the Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association and have many recomendations.

I am now looking to broaden my scope of practice. In doing so, I am looking specifically for a Referral Partner. Occasionally I get massage clients who need work that goes beyond massage therapy - they need chiropractic work. I’m looking for a solid and dependable chiropractor who I can refer these clients to.

In return, whenever that chiropractor gets a client who needs massage therapy, they would refer those clients to me.

If by chance you have an on-site massage therapist you work with, than please keep my information on file in the event you ever need another or find you have more work than your office can manage.

I will follow up with a call in the next week if you’d like to discuss this further. I am also available to come in and meet. Please feel free to contact me on either my cell or email listed above. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your time.
Lisa, Thank you, this is exactly what I needed it, just a sample so I can get an idea on what to write. I appreciated
