What do you wish you'd learned before you started your career?

What's the most important piece of advice you'd give to someone entering the profession fresh out of massage school?

Post your answer in the comments below, and we might use it in an upcoming article for Massage & Bodywork magazine!

I don't know about advice. Well if I was giving advice. Learn trigger points. Read my thread and you will know why. But the title of your thread is. What do you wish you had learned before you started you career? Well first off. I would not change my decision to be a massage therapist for anything. I love my work. But I was under the fantasy that I would be rich. Fifty bucks and hour in the 1980s. Well, at times Ive made exceptional money. But I'm still not rich.. But like I said.. I love my work, and I'm into it.
