now in my eigth year, i've tried anything and everything, but i keep coming back to Biotone Dual Purpose. cocoa butter works well too.
I like the Biotone as a lotion but formulate massage oil using olive, peanut and, castor oils, liquid lanolin and myhrr. For those with sensitive skin or allergies, I use apricot oil or lotion. I blend the oils for their healing properties and have different formulas depending on the client. I also have one with rose oil added as well, my personal favorite
Hey Noreen...check this thread too. There are some good suggestions here.

Body butter for me. Consistency and works on all parts of the body. Weather dehydrates folks and the butter makes them pliable.
I know if it me but massage school have the stinkiest massage oils
Biotone Relaxing Therapeutic and NutriNaturals.

Body butter is #3.
The Biotone Dual Purpose is nice to use,..but after a busy week, I start to taste it! The Biotone lotion had the same effect after awhile. Does anyone else have that problem? I switched to unscented Spa Touch cream & lotion because the nearby beauty supply store carries that, so it's easier to get and I don't notice any after-effects, but it is a wee bit more oily than I like. Thanks for the body butter mentions, I must try one.
i swear by Pure Pro products...the cream, arnica oil and peppermint cream. but i've recently found some body butter i'm loving as well. can never have too many choices. :)
(I think I posted this on another thread.) Pure organic refined coconut oil.

No smell (good "carrier" if you want to add a few drops of something), great glide and feel, washes out of linens easily, won't catch fire when you have a pile of oily linens in the corner. (There were three major spa fires in Calistoga in the last 10 years or so from oily linens - one in the dryers, two were just in baskets waiting for laundry.)

Biotone dual-purpose is OK too.
Has anyone tried natural formulations? I'm getting two sample kits and the full sized organic sampler. The prices look good. 6 samples for 6 bucks. That's just for the shipping. Plus you get a coupon for the $ 6.00 back on an order. My order is going to be 29.99 for 6 full sized products and 12 ounces of samples. Plus the shipping is free. They have a full website of stuff.

I've been using Natural Formulations for about 2yrs. I love it! Many of my clients do not like smells from the lotion. The product I use has no smell. I us the MCL Ultra-Glide Creme-Lotion. You need very little for a full body massage. I think you'll be happy with this product.
