I too use both of these often. Also, like Bindi Premium Three Dosha blend oil.

I love Pure Coconut oil too and I also use Biotone Herbal Select (Luxurious)
Oh boy am I the only therapist that actually uses oil? Organic grapeseed to be exact. I like its versatitlity. A number of therapists do not like oil but in the day when i went to school (18 light years ago) we learned that it is all about regulating the amount. A pump bottle solves this problem. I personnaly have an issue with anything I may put on a client that contains additives to insure cleaner sheets. I work with a number of clients with immune system issues and would be concerned with anything that is not pure. Read your lables. You might feel the same way afterwards.
good point Mary Ellen.

most of my items are so pure and smell so good i want to eat them. :)

Natural unrefined shea butter from community cooperatives in Africa! Use it for bodywork including hot stones and reflexology. I was preparing to switch to a lotion and a gel for bodywork based on organic oils. I was also using shea butter for reflexology. I left my lotion and gel at my studio and tried shea butter for a client at my home studio. Worked well for the bodywork and with hot stones. Later a client mentioned that she would only put on her skin what she could also eat. So decision made, shea butter for all my clients (an edible product of the shea nut, similar to cocoa butter and coconut butter; unless the client is allergic).
is there something in Biotone dual purpose cream that causes you concern? i prefer oil to lotion, but oil is... well... oily.

I have used their Sun Loepard Cream for a few years and find that it is great stuff. The products I use the most are TUI Massage & Body waxes from New Zealand. They Are solids (no spill) with GREAT glide and Great Moisturizing. You can look them up on the internet.

Has anyone tried natural formulations? I'm getting two sample kits and the full sized organic sampler. The prices look good. 6 samples for 6 bucks. That's just for the shipping. Plus you get a coupon for the $ 6.00 back on an order. My order is going to be 29.99 for 6 full sized products and 12 ounces of samples. Plus the shipping is free. They have a full website of stuff.

(I think I posted this on another thread.) Pure organic refined coconut oil. No smell (good "carrier" if you want to add a few drops of something), great glide and feel, washes out of linens easily, won't catch fire when you have a pile of oily linens in the corner. (There were three major spa fires in Calistoga in the last 10 years or so from oily linens - one in the dryers, two were just in baskets waiting for laundry.)

Biotone dual-purpose is OK too.
I make and sell my own organic massage products. Since I do a lot of deep tissue and myofascial work I create products that allow me to stay intact instead of sliding off. This way I can also cater to my clients and make blends. Might as well use the herbal science degree, it cost enough :)
I prefer pure coconut oil also, great glide, non staining and most of all I know what is going on my client's body is all natural and in my hands and arms, I prefer not to use anything with chemicals in it and my clients appreciate it also!

Just recently I was introduced to Natural Formulations products and I love them. A little goes a long way.
mmmm well I made my own combination of scencial oil, but I love almond career oils and cocoa massage cream. And from Massage Warehouse (jeje not paid recomendation) I love the Biotone massage lotion.
I've tried samples of almost everything out there and have always come back to Sacred Earth Botanicals. Their oils, lotions and creams are all FDA approved organic and their containers are all made from recycled material. There are no added scents (unless you get the foot lotion or warming lotion) and you don't have to use as much. You may have to pay a couple dollars more, but you use less, so it evens out.

The guy who owns Sacred Earth in Oregon will send free samples of any products. I highly recommend them.

Ryan Hoyme (Massage Nerd) did some video reviews of the Sacred Earth products if you want to check them out.

I think I use the cream 90% of the time. My clients love it. As one of my female clients said "I love your products, I can come get a massage and feel like I can go do errands or something without having to run home for a shower."
