I am curious on how other massage therapists get along who are working while pregnant. I am 5 months pregnant, and feel great. I hope to work for as long as I can. I am worried I will loose clients when I take maternity leave, I am also worried about how I am going to be feeling in a few months, I would like to carry on working despite how big I will be. Any thoughts on this?

If you maintain your active lifestyle and have a healthy pregnancy, I don't see why you couldn't continue do to massage up to a couple weeks from your due date. I started massage school when I was a couple months along and finished in the last month of my pregnancy. Throughout all of my classroom massages and homework massages I had no problems. You just kinda learn to work around the big belly, lol. Good Luck!

I got pregnant during massage school. I was doing massages up to 7 months, because I started to feel uncomfortable with my big belly. It was hard on my back and I was hitting clients with my belly .
Other than that I felt great just a little tired after two massages in a row.
I finished school and did my license with tests all before I had my baby girl. If you feel good , not getting too tired and nothing bothers you I can't see why not continue ;)
