I haven't registered my business, as I haven't secured a job yet. I have only ever worked as an employee in the US. So bear with me - if I rent a room in a salon, or work on commission, this is considered my own business and therefore self employed?

It's basically a fee that says you're a registered business in the city and/or county. Although Occ lic. are required many people practice/work without one. Are you planning to be self employed? If you work as an employee not a contractor then you do not need and occ. lic. Hve you registred your business yet?

So now I'm looking for work. I understand that I also need to obtain an Occupational license in the city where I work. Can anyone enlighten me on this.

I know its a tuff economy out there right now, does anyone have any advice as far as finding massage work in central florida?
