Hi JB.....I was in central Florida so cannot speak for Jacksonville. The average cost of a massage (private/not a spa) in my area was $60-$65 an hour. Also, we were required to have an Occupational License from the City and the County. This is in addition to a Massage Establishment license (make sure there is one and you are covered if you work with someone else).. You will need to check in your area and see what is required there....Central Florida has been hit hard by the declining economy but again, I have no information on Jacksonville. I do know it has been growing steadily over the last 20 years or so...so good luck on your new adventure! I just moved to Colorado so i'm experiencing a big change too.
